As we continue to strive to improve ourselves for our people, Woodfin Heating Inc. is looking to connect with qualified and innovative professionals to join our team as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Program Manager. This individual will partner with senior management to establish and maintain a meaningful workplace that encourages all employees to thrive personally and professionally and allows all to be equally heard. They will be recognizing, creating and implementing plans to promote diversity within our organization. A significant part of the role is promoting and developing training programs to enhance employee understanding on inclusions issues.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining and designing a global DEI strategy by thinking big and bringing innovative, leading edge ideas that propel our DEI work forward with long-term results in mind
  • Create and deliver educational programs for company leadership and employees that represent Woodfin Heating Inc. DEI strategy
  • Define key performance indicators by developing metrics for DEI programs and processes, aligned with business and DEI organizational objectives
  • Drive DEI goal attainment through program management and defined project plans; manage implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation and communications for program/process rollout and ongoing support
  • Acts as a DEI subject matter expert by contributing perspective, insights, and knowledge, and taking a balanced consultative and systematic approach to enable the organization to achieve measurable results
  • Review current affirmative action efforts to ensure alignment with strategic DEI goals
  • Work within the framework of the Continuous Improvement Network to disseminate our shared core values and Woodfin's vision
  • Collaborate on recruiting and wellness teams to develop events and programs that target the engagement of more diverse populations
  • Team with recruiting to review job requisitions and generate approaches to expand our outreach to engage a more diverse applicant base
  • Conduct annual audit of current employee lists to identify potential disparities between groups and provide analyzed results to company leadership
  • Oversee annual EEO-1 reporting
  • Oversee quarterly DEI forum consisting of a diverse, cross-section of employed population of Woodfin Heating Inc. to discuss the current and future state of DEI initiatives
  • Outreach and partnership with various educational institutions to represent us and advocate for positive DEI efforts in the workplace
  • Maintain a regular, on-site presence at all company divisions to observe DEI opportunities for improvement and promote plans to improve
  • Bring a high energy, results-oriented and resourceful mindset and quickly take control of your responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Diversity Studies, Organization Effectiveness, or similar socially focused major
  • SHRM or HRCI certification strongly preferred; not required
  • Verifiable success building a DEI strategy from the ground up, including design of roadmaps to drive incremental progress towards long-term vision and goals
  • Experience with DEI analytics, including how to drive impact in recruitment, talent, and inclusion metrics
  • Experience demonstrating high judgment and working with confidential or highly sensitive subject matter
