Tactile Medical is a significantly growing medical device organization that is committed to help people suffering from chronic diseases live better and care for themselves at home. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager (open to remote) to join our team! The Senior Project Manager leads the end-to-end implementation of multiple portfolio projects focusing on the interactions between Tactile Medical team members, health care payers, health care teams and patients receiving our products. The scope of responsibilities for this role includes both business functional and IT technology project activities. The person in this position could be responsible for defining business requirements, implementing improved processes, ensuring successful project deployment and performing all project management functions while maintaining compliance with all appropriate regulatory requirements including HIPAA.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Prepare and provide timely project updates across the organization, to ensure successful project execution
- Initiate, plan, and execute projects in accordance with the Project Management Office (PMO) project management methodology and according to fluctuating stakeholder priorities. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to facilitate project work and ensure outcomes satisfy requested objectives
- Build good relationships with internal and external clients and business partners to effectively support and drive change for continuous improvement
- Lead all project management activities including project scope, charter development, resource coordination, project documentation, status reporting and change management
- Conduct root cause analysis and identify appropriate process and/or technological solutions based on proposed solutions
- Assure that projects successfully integrate with existing programs and strategies so that business goals are achieved
- Track and escalate issues and risks, ensuring full visibility, mitigation and resolution
- Prepare and present written and verbal presentations to internal and external audiences
- Operate as a leader of continuous improvement and change agent within the organization
Education & Experience
Required:
- 10 years project or program management experience, including tracking and planning projects of $1MM & higher
- 5 years of experience with business process improvement and re-engineering efforts
- Experience working closely with multiple functional stakeholders and senior business leaders
- History of successfully leading multiple concurrent significant and complex projects
- Previous experience working with project management and process improvement methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- Established experience creating Business Requirement Documentation
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree
- PMP Certification
- Lean/Six Sigma Certification or experience
- Medical device, durable medical equipment, or healthcare industry experience
Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced level of proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, ServiceNow, and SharePoint
- Influence without authority, developing strong relationships cross-functionally, and collaborating through conflict in order to accomplish project goals
- Thrive in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment by balancing multiple deadline-driven priorities
