About Our Client

Our client, an established Restoration contractor in the Twin Cities, is looking for a Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, this person will be responsible to plan, budget, and oversee all aspects of assigned repair projects. He/she must manage repair jobs from the time that work begins on the job site to the final day of the project. They are also expected to help make sure that the minimum target gross margin number is achieved. The Project Manager must be driven to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented company that focuses on compassion, communication and accountability towards the customer.

Description

  • Perform a scope on all assigned projects
  • Obtain signed contractsCreate budgets for projects, also known as buying out the job
  • Manage budgets and review job costs
  • Order and coordinate the delivery of materials
  • Create, keep track of, and have the homeowner/policyholder sign Change Orders
  • Manage the labor on all jobs
  • Meet daily/weekly with the Team Coordinator to review active jobs and budgets
  • Visit job sites on a regular basis
  • Upsell to customers where applicable
  • Create sketch of property and obtain quality Before and After job photos
  • Obtain a signed certificate of completion, satisfaction survey and final payment at the end of the job
  • Update all log notes
  • Build relationships with sub-contractors
  • Set and manage expectations with the homeowner/policyholder

The Successful Applicant

  • Must have a working knowledge o fRestoration construction
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Exchange)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Project management experience
  • Takes initiative in solving problems
  • Attention to detail
