CBO – Systems Engineering – Project Delivery Specialist – AMI PMO Analyst - PDM

Are you an experienced, passionate pioneer in technology? A systems’ professional who wants to work in a collaborative environment. As an experienced Release Train Engineer, you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel.

Work you’ll do

As an experience PMO analyst you will work with the PMO Lead and client team to develop and refine existing project standards and templates, including SharePoint and document management.  The work will include:

  • Work across the Program Work Tracks to build, baseline, and maintain the Project Work Plan and associated work products (e.g. high-level visuals/reports/Gantts) for all AMI projects
  • Conduct quality control and consistency checks after the work plan has been incorporated into the Program’s Master Plan
  • Help to identify critical path and dependencies at the program level
  • Create and develop conceptual what-if schedules for multiple project types including large complex multi-year projects
  • Supports providing inputs into Earned Value Analysis, including weekly reporting
  • Monitors the dependencies and critical path, escalating any risks or issues
  • Updates the Program’s Master Work Plan resulting from re-baselines or change requests.
  • Works directly with Work Track/Team Leads to report progress against plan (weekly) using percent complete analysis
  • Produces ad hoc reports as needed
  • Advises the Program’s PMO on lessons learned
  • Support Onboarding/Offboarding of onshore and offshore team members
  • Track training compliance, as needed
  • Support the document management process including Decisions/Actions log
  • Support Work Track Leads with submission of risks and issues into the RAID Log
  • Liaise with staff in other projects as part of the program to enable consistent delivery processes and standards
  • Support budget management and staff plan management
  • Facilitate reporting processes including status reports
  • Manage communications from the PMO mailbox including regular reporting cycle requests.
  • Support development of the quality plan; QA deliverables and work products
  • Manage project level Lessons Learned repository
  • Monitor the integration points with other vendors
  • Support team event planning
  • Provide ad hoc support on requests from leadership

Systems Engineering

Our Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.

Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts.

Qualifications

Required

  • Agile or other Project Management Certifications (CSM, PMP)
  • Prior experience in the Power, Utilities & Renewables Industry
  • Experience with project status reporting, scheduling, risks/issues, change control
  • Experience coordinating a large volume of teams
  • Advanced Meter Infrastructure experience a plus.
