Datica’s Team is in need of an experienced technical project manager with strong cloud infrastructure & operations skills. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player that will handle resources & coordination from a technical standpoint. This role reports to the CTO.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinating development team members – Define tasks on a daily basis
- Manage & document daily engineering efforts
- Facilitate daily & weekly meetings
- Ensure tasks are being completed on time & within scope
- Maintaining project timeframes & status reports
- Help to shape the vision & roadmap for Datica’s Product
- Setting goals & plans to meet those goals per Datica’s Product Roadmap
- Identify business trends utilizing real data, compile analysis reports for leadership & follow up on all results
- Maintain competitive intelligence on competing solutions & train key stakeholders, as appropriate
- Manage the Release Management strategy
Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years' experience in product management or as a technical project manager, or relevant software engineering experience
- Ability to work & collaborate effectively in a remote work environment
- Experience working directly with cloud services providers & related projects
- Experience managing Public Cloud based Products
- Experience managing engineering efforts utilizing Public Cloud
- Experience working within a regulated industry (healthcare, finance, legal, etc.)
- Experience working directly with cloud engineering & software infrastructure teams
- Extremely strong project management skills - specifically, planning & executing multiple projects from definition through implementation. PMI Certification such as ACP is strongly preferred.
- Ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility, authority & technical knowledge
- Ability to prioritize, delegate & foster the development of high performance teams
- Knowledge of software development methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail & accuracy
- Ability to take ownership of, & focus on critical initiatives
- Ability to recognize & embrace change as the external environment & organization evolves
- Healthcare IT experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
