Specific Skills for the Technical Agile Coach

Nice to have

  • Craftsmanship approach
  • Deep understanding and hands on experience with Jira
  • Demonstrate the role of the developer in creating properly-sized user stories
  • Teach architectural principles through the process of emergent design
  • Participate in team ceremonies as both a team member and mentor
  • Mentor teams in planning, implementing and delivering high quality software using modern Agile engineering and DevOps practices
  • Have hands-on coding experience as a software developer or an architect using XP
  • Lean Agile methodologies
  • Mastery of Agile engineering skills including Test Driven Development Automated testing Code refactoring Designs that eliminate dependencies between user stories
  • Deep understanding of DevOps 12 Factor App concepts and practices including Continuous Integration, Continuous DeliveryDeployment, Monitoring, etc.
  • Experience working with various tech stacks, deep knowledge in either Java and experience working with Cloud Strong interpersonal skills working with technical personnel
