The Global Productivity team supports Stripe’s mission (to ‘Increase the GDP of the Internet’) by empowering the Sales Organization to achieve their goals. We do so by developing structures, processes, and policies to Increase Sales Productivity. For example, we are responsible for Ensuring Data Accuracy, Managing Dashboards & Reporting, Providing Sales Education, Organizing Sales Knowledge, and driving Sales Process Consistency.

Within Global Productivity, our Program Managers are focused on initiating, project managing, and delivering internally-oriented projects (including Sales enablement activities) across tooling, processes, and policies, to facilitate incremental Sales productivity. This Program Manager will be an internal product manager for Salesforce, where the client is the internal sales team. This is a ‘full stack’ change management role with the successful candidate being given responsibility for specific, high-impact projects of multi-month (and potentially multi-year) duration where they will be involved in ideation, solution design, and project management, as well as execution on workstreams related to Sales team enablement.

As we rapidly grow our company and customer-base, we need change-management and program-management experts who can help identify and deliver internal solutions to help us scale as an organization – especially as we seek to empower the Sales team to hit their goals.

You Will

  • Work cross-functionally to identify process, tooling, and policy gaps that naturally emerge as we rapidly scale our business
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company
  • Be accountable for driving productivity-related projects, and be directly responsible for marshalling the cross-functional support and resources needed to accomplish your goals
  • Manage directly (or coordinate) the ‘full-stack’ of change management activities across stakeholder engagement, messaging/communication planning, and enablement (for example via Sales education)
  • Create communication plans (and editorial content/materials), as well as relevant, strategic training elements to support the organizational change projects
  • Document business processes and establish long-term governance mechanisms to support productivity-related programs over the long term
  • Provide guidance, consulting, and coaching (on change management methodologies) to peers and others on partner teams

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Extensive Salesforce experience
  • 7+ years of program management/change management (or similar) experience
  • Experience with medium or large-scale organizational and/or technological change efforts (including program design and implementation)

  • Comfort operating with incomplete data and adapting / re-prioritizing activities as business needs change
  • Deep problem solving and analysis experience (solving business problems - commercial, operational, financial) in a Sales-oriented environment

What You'll Do

  • Own and help manage the processes that help to maintain the connectivity to over 30 databases like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Databricks, and more
  • Partner with Customer Success and Support in conversations with customers to understand their needs, gather detailed feedback, and ensure that product direction is in alignment with their use cases
  • Identify opportunities to expand Mode's connectivity
  • Manage programs and projects to ensure smooth execution of the connectivity roadmap

What We Look For

  • Technical proficiency using database technologies, specifically experience in 2 or more SQL dialects
  • Strong project management skills with high attention to detail
  • A professional background in one or more of data analytics, database administration (DBA), support or solutions engineering, software development

The base compensation range for this role is $108,000 - $130,000 to be determined by level.

Responsibilities

  • Point of contact for all Data projects / initiatives / issues in the Americas region.
  • Raise Data quality, Data Governance issues with the Data domain owners within GM Data Services Technology team. Monitor and ensure satisfactory resolution meeting the requirements of the business teams in the region.
  • Co-ordinate with various Data domain leads and applications teams to implement the changes. Provide transparency to consumers within the region or Globally, as required.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
  • 10+ years of PM experience in financial industry in Investment banking front office environment
  • Knowledge of Financial Products Equities, Derivatives, Bonds, Structured products, Index etc.
  • Knowledge of Trade Life cycle is must.
  • Solid analytical skills and strong status reporting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to cope with rapid front-office business needs
  • Ability to communicate and act professionally with IT staff and business clients while under strict deadlines.

In This Capacity, You Will

  • Contribute towards enterprise strategy and future state design by understanding current ways of working and potential operating models.

Minimum Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes & experience:

  • 3-5 years Program Management experience leading complex strategic or transformation initiatives in a large Technology organization such as org effectiveness or process re-engineering.
  • Possess working knowledge of software and/or product development processes and Agile methodologies; experience with modern approaches preferred.
  • Robust technology strategy or management consulting experience that includes customer-centric design and innovation (e.g., Design Thinking), customer journey mapping, business capability modeling, use case development, external benchmarking, and other consulting methodologies a plus.
  • Possess an “MVP” mindset as demonstrated through resourcefulness, creativity, complex problem solving and strategic and innovative thought leadership.
  • Ability to influence without authority and demonstrated track record for driving results and transformation across multiple lines of business.
  • Ability to connect seemingly separate conversations, internal and external data, and primary research to identify opportunities or manage against potential risks or business challenges.
  • Proven ability to drive and influence change across multiple organizations.
  • Proficient in developing excellent quality presentations and deliverables for an executive audience.
  • MBA or equivalent and previous top-tier or Big 4 management consulting experience preferred.

The Project Manager is a vital member of the Finance Transformation’s PMO Office. Reporting to the Lead Program Manager(s) they will support the PMO office which manages and coordinates work across key pillars of the Finance Transformation Program including: culture, risk and controls, architecture and technology, data, and communication. The Project Manager will oversee status reporting & resource coordination, and project planning & dependency management of the workstreams and initiatives. Further, the Project Manager will support Lead Program Managers by ensuring that initiatives across the Finance Transformation Office (FTO) are executed in an efficient, effective, and controlled manner leveraging and agile approach. To do so, they will have to work alongside a PMO team with varied skillsets including Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, and process engineers. They will collaborate within the PMO Office and across the FTO team to support Program Managers ensuring that the FTO functions seamlessly and cohesively maximize the impact of the organization’s transformation efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Day to day ownership of program management success

• Drive adherence to FTO standards

• Support the development and implementation of FTO playbook

• Supports identification of risks, dependencies and issues across the Program and coordinates mitigation actions

• Support Program management leads in their day to day ownership of program delivery

• Support Program management leads in resolving issues escalated by workstream leads

• Identifies and resolves risk and issues where possible or escalates to leadership as required

• Support the program management leads in working with business stakeholders to identify business needs, validate pain points, and determine the high-level value proposition / business case for implementing innovative solutions via the FTO

• Provide Finance Transformation office reporting and informational updates to Program Leads and stakeholders

• Continuously assess the Finance Transformation Office PMO Office initiatives and introduce improvements and best practices, as needed

• Collaborate with other project managers to promote an environment conducive to information exchange

• Support other Finance Transformation projects, as needed

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in Program/Project Management with proven success in project management and execution.

• Experience in supporting transformation projects and organizational change initiatives.

• Experience in supporting the development and implementation of new business processes

• Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills; being able to analyze data, draw conclusions, identify trends and issues, and diagnose root cause of issues

• Ability to support a cross-functional project team with varied disciplines.

• Proven experience in providing quality control and oversight, and development of dashboards and reports for a portfolio of projects.

• Track record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

• Analytical mindset to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations

• A team player who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to contribute

• Experience or demonstrated ability to work effectively within a heavily matrixed organization

Role
