Position Description

The Matching team at Toptal is where we pair world class talent with amazing client opportunities. The team you will be joining excels at finding the right talent for the right engagement/client. You will work closely with several other teams such as Sales, Client Experience, Talent Success, and Talent Acquisition to grow Toptal’s Product & Project Manager network. Interacting on a daily basis with product and project managers in Toptal’s talent network, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality and integrity of talents whom we send to clients, while also helping talent from every corner of the world find their dream job. Being central to Toptal’s operations you will also be the source of feedback for product development and operational processes around the entire Talent Operations function.

This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere. Due to the remote nature of this role, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship. Resumes and communication must be submitted in English.

Responsibilities

As a Director of Project & Product Management, you will be the direct link between the Top PJM/PDMs that pass our screening process and the clients that are looking to engage them. On a daily basis, you will work closely with multiple Toptal clients on understanding their requirements and needs and finding the best possible candidate for them inside Toptal’s talent network. You will also ensure talent and clients are working together successfully when the engagement has started. Finally, you will be providing input into our processes and tools, as well as working on special projects on occasion to support Toptal on it’s path of continuous improvement.

In The First Week, Expect To

  • Onboard and integrate into Toptal.
  • Rapidly begin learning about Toptal’s history, culture, and vision.
  • Familiarize yourself with the team’s tools, processes, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Become proficient with Toptal’s platform. *Shadow calls with the vertical lead and peers in PJM & PDM, as well as folks in our sales organization.

In The First Month, Expect To

  • Take on your first client calls and manage their engagement with Toptal.
  • Become familiar with various teams in Toptal and understand how they contribute to the company’s success.
  • Partner with both SMB and enterprise sales team to serve our clients to ensure their success.
  • Work closely with the talent and address their needs.

In The First Three Months, Expect To

  • Build a mature client portfolio.
  • Track both individual and reference to team metrics as it relates to your OKRs
  • Resolve any client-talent disputes which may arise in your client portfolio.

In The First Six Months, Expect To

  • Become eligible to take on Toptal’s major accounts, including top tier brands and clients.
  • With a full grasp of the role, you will start making your own minor process adjustments and suggestions. *Individual OKRs are within the average of the team OKRs (with short term deviation)

The focus of the Sr. Project Manager role is to manage cross-functional projects simultaneously within the organization.  These projects can vary in scope from implementing an enterprise-wide strategic initiative, working with a construction company to deliver a new health center, or bringing on a new client.  The Sr. Project Manager will also be asked to assist in defining and contributing to the continuous improvement of project management processes utilized by other project managers in the PMO.  The Sr. Project Manager can manage a project from inception (idea) until completion (operational).  The Sr. Project Manager will coach and mentor less experienced Project Managers to ensure the entire PMO team is executing projects in the most effective and efficient way as the company continues to grow.  The Sr. Project Manager is expected to deliver a project in alignment with stated customer objectives related to time, cost, scope and quality.  In addition to projects being completed on-time, on-budget, within scope and with high quality, a positive project experience by the team and clients is also desired.  

This position is based in Indianapolis, IN, however, for the right candidate consideration will be made to work remotely.  This position requires domestic travel approximately 25 - 30% of the time, including some weekends.

PURPOSE

Manage, analyze and provide accurate and relevant data for Project Leaders to make informed decisions on strategies and tactics to mitigate risk, control cost, and ensure customer satisfaction related to assigned project. The Project Management Analyst (PMA) typically supports a project which is medium to large in scope and may also support a phase or portion of a large, complex project.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage performance dashboards, analyze event triggers and alerts and determine appropriate follow up for Project Leader or others to act upon.
  • Coordinate project schedules, estimates, cost control, risk management activities.

Description

Configuration Management (CM) is a systems engineering process for establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information through changes and throughout its life. The CM process is widely used by aerospace/ military engineering organizations to manage changes throughout the system lifecycle of complex systems, such as airplane systems, military vehicles, and information systems.This position is responsible for specifying, configuring, and maintaining configuration and design documentation for entire aircraft designs. The CM Engineer provides subject matter expertise and guidance during the planning, procedural generation/revision, and execution of change management.The CM Engineer is comfortable working with a team of fellow certification oriented engineers & DER's, systems engineers, and other design engineers providing critical design, auditability of process and process controls through change management in ALM and PLM environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Coordination, tracking, and statusing the review and approval of changes to engineering, manufacturing processes and specifications associated with aircraft fabrication and assembly.
  • Plans and authors procedures for the BETA team around change and quality management.
  • Changeset Management for software and production in a certification/regulatory environment.
  • System administration management and integration for key software systems used
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with both internal & external customers
  • High energy, self-motived, organized and detail-orientedRequirements
  • Change Management processes, procedures ISO9001, and SAE AS9100 or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace or other regulated design and manufacturing industry preferred
  • BS in a relevant engineering or quality discipline
  • Google G -Suite including drive, mail, calendar, docs, sheets, slides, charts, hangouts; slack, application lifecycle
  • Production Lifecycle and Enterprise Resource Planning software (Omnify, Arena, Aras, Plex)
  • Requirements, Test, and Change Management software (DOORS, Polarion, JAMA, JIRA)
  • Strong problem solving and root cause corrective action investigation background

Responsibilities

You will work with a Senior Project Manager as part of a cross functional team to support the evolution of flight. Key to your responsibilities is providing timely project status, summary, and issue resolution tracking reports. The majority of time will be spent working with other members of BETA's team on the complete manufacturing process and with our suppliers to drive supply chain on critical projects alongside our procurement team. Day to day activities will include production planning; supplier relations; and discussions on insourcing/outsourcing.
