We are seeking a SAFe Agile Project Manager for a client in San Antonio, Texas.
Due to COVID 19, this position will be WFH to start. Candidates are expected to be able to return to the office once things are settled down.
Requirements
- Solid IT project manager with core Agile (required) but SAFeAgile* is preferred
- Strong Communication skills
- Experience with Customer, Risk identification, Timelines, Budgets and DeliveryRally & Jira – strongly preferred
Description

- Participates in the planning, execution and delivery of moderately complex to complex business projects under minimal supervision.
- Manages risk by using established project management processes to address execution challenges associated with quality, schedule and cost.
- Leads and manages projects to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives.
- Serves as a resource to less experienced team members on escalated issues of a routine nature.
Job Duties:
- Acquires and applies proficient knowledge of the business, its products and processes.
- Gathers information, analyzes data trends, identifies root causes and develops work products.
- Defines low to medium risk project plans and aligns to project deliverables.
- Manages budgets on the low to medium range of project budgets.
- Uses tools and techniques that may include process engineering and software delivery methods to increase overall project success.
- Seeks creative alternatives to project challenges.
- Facilitates development of project plans related to schedule, budget, scope and resources.
- Monitors project execution to deliver incremental business value.
- Understands each project's critical path activities and proactively manages those to project's benefit.

Travis Industries, San Antonio, and Central Texas' premier service provider for Industrial Maintenance, Construction, and Oil & Gas related projects is seeking an Industrial Sales/ Estimator for the Central and South Texas region. Applicants must be experienced in the Industrial Painting & Protective Coatings industry, and candidates with other industrial craft experiences such as Industrial Cleaning, Scaffolding, Fireproofing, and/or Insulation are preferred.
Candidates should be capable of interacting with clients in the development of sales leads/opportunities, be comfortable generating competent project estimates off of plans, drawings, and specifications, and coordinate and direct the execution of projects in a professional, efficient and cost-effective manner. Candidates must be self-motivated, trustworthy, detail-oriented, have time management skills, exhibit a high level of organization, and pay excellent attention to detail.
DUTIES include, but are not limited to -
- Ability to prepare estimates from either job walks and or take off from prints
- Generate and present professional Proposals to clients, to include follow-up post-bid and close of the sale
- Review Plans, drawings & specification to generate detailed quantity takeoffs
- Interact with Vendors/Suppliers for the ordering of materials for the project
Coordinate / Schedule for proper staffing of project - Managing field manpower and managing project cost
- Participate in the Oversight and Quality control of Projects
- Track job cost throughout the entire project to maintain projected financial performance
- Maintain excellent customer relations and well as being able to assist in building to our current customer portfolio
- Use a computer to compile and submit job scope reports, paint specifications, inspection reports, and inter-office communications.
- Compile and submit job completion report in a timely manner
- Drive a vehicle safely in an industrial or oil & gas facility or another field site
- Ability to communicate and maintain a positive relationship between client, facility, and co-workers
- Ensure that all safety and environmental policies and procedures are being followed.
QUALIFICATIONS Include, But Are Not Limited To -
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with college, preferred
- English speaking, with Spanish Bilingual preferred
- 3+ years of experience in the Industrial Painting/Protective coatings industry
- 3 + years of Estimating and Project Management background
- Proficient in reading and understanding plans, drawings, and specifications
- Self‐motivated with strong follow up and organizational skills, as well as good written and verbal communication skills with a positive team‐oriented attitude, is required
- Documentation of work experience
- NACE, SSPC, or other craft certification preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including MS Office and Estimating Software
- Clean Driving record / Current Driver’s License
- Willingness to Travel where and when required
This position is full-time (exempt) and anticipated to be compensated on a salaried basis. Summary

What You'll Need
Education
- Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
Experience
- 8+ years combined experience in the assigned market/solution, product marketer, or practitioner experience
- Experience in tech marketing; SaaS experience preferred
- Experience with industry technologies that service the relevant processes of the buyer persona role preferred
- 2+ years experience in financial reporting specifically focused in the areas of regulated reporting in the insurance markets
- Knowledge of North America, EMEA & APAC insurance requirements and markets
- Knowledge of Finance and Actuarial reporting requirements
- Knowledge of insurance-specific regulatory requirements (i.e. LDTI, Actuarial Memorandum, IFRS 17, Rate Filings)

Summary

Experience in strategic marketing measurement & measurement of communication effectiveness - Experience in B2B in an agency setting preferred
Skills

Summary
The Senior Director of Services PMO is responsible for the management and direction of the Services Program Management Office (PMO), which ensures all service delivery meets Workiva goals and requirements. Reporting to the VP of Global Services, this person will develop, implement, and continually improve project management methodologies, standards, and tools. This person will be responsible for coaching and managing a team of project/program/engagement managers.
What You'll Do
Organization Direction: Responsible for the direction of PMO
- Establish the PMO as the center of excellence for services project/program management best practices, including methodologies, standards and tools
- Scale and evolve the PMO to meet growing and changing business needs
- Practice development of the full life cycle of project/program management, from project planning, initiation, resourcing and execution to monitoring, control and completion
- Set PMO goals and performance targets that clearly outline the teams short and long term objectives, milestones, and metrics
- Oversee completion of project tasks and artifacts, manages conflicts within the group, and escalates risks/issues, as needed
- Create and maintain relationships with business partners, technology partners, and with cross functional teams
People Management: Responsible for ensuring the growth and development of the PMO team
- Provide work direction, coaching, and performance feedback to team members, while establishing and maintaining a positive, constructive relationship with customers, partners, and other stakeholders
- Establish the PMO organization structure and maintain the team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training team managers
- Oversee the delegation of work to Project Managers, Program Managers, and Engagement Managers
- Identify and develop team members for growth and future leadership opportunities
- Fosters growth within teams with a focus on Customer First through goal setting strategies
- Create and analyze metrics that monitor team performance
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts in the development and delivery of services to ensure customer needs are identified and met

Our direct end client is looking for a Diversity and Inclusion Project Manager for a contract position.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 4-6 months with potential extension or conversion for the right person
Location: Chanhassen - would like the person on-site a couple days a week as needed.
Interview Process: One and done - Video interview is ok. Interview will be with VP and C-Level HR executives.
Client is implementing a comprehensive Diversity and Inclusion Program and needs someone to manage the end-to-end work. The right resource will be an experienced Project Manager with experience in the HR space - they do not need to be an expert in Diversity and Inclusion but rather an expert in helping facilitate all of the pieces and process.
