As a Technical Program Senior Manager for CSG’s New Product Introduction team , you will be part of a dynamic, global team coordinating readiness across CSG's key functions - Support, Success, Professional Services, Renewals. In this role, you will work closely with our Cloud GTM Strategy Leads, CSG and TMP Execs to prioritize CSG's response to NPI.

This seasoned IT professional will have a solid technical background and significant experience with Product Management, Program Management, as well as with Public/Private Cloud services. This role will require an ongoing proficiency in all aspects of Project Management plan-driven methodology including Execution & Governance of Steering Committees and Program Operating Models

With strong emotional intelligence and high conflict resolution skills, you will rally the cross-functional teams that sometimes span multiple time zones and hold the teams and individuals accountable for timelines and deliverables. You will provide hands-on management of projects and proactively identify risks and develop mitigation plans to keep them on track.

Responsibilities

  • Supports prioritization of CSG's response to NPI
  • Manages, tracks and provides consolidated reporting on progress.
  • Removes blockers and mitigates project risks maximizing team productivity and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Balance business needs with the technical constraints, drive creative solution discussions, and negotiate trade-offs as needed.
  • Cultivate effective, trusted working relationships with matrix teams located globally across time-zones.

Skills Required

  • 5-7 years’ experience in technology industry in direct, hands-on experience in program and/or delivery management.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, confident communicator with the ability to present complex issues and solutions in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level executives
  • Ability to drive work independently, identifying solutions, and moving them to implementation.
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment with a highly collaborative, team oriented approach to problem solving
  • Proven leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment: A proven track record as a decisive, action-oriented individual, who has led cross-functional global teams to define and achieve high value objectives.

Your Impact

  • Lead programs by achieving alignment on program scope, release planning, as well as aligning one or more teams on vision, business goals, creating program structure, and securing cross-functional alignment.

  • Manage "program/feature" dependencies across multiple teams, scrum teams, functions, divisions, and stakeholders.
  • Anticipate and remove obstacles with a sense of urgency that slow down or prevent project teams from delivering on project goals.
  • Provide monthly program reviews and updates at sprint reviews (deep dive into current state of project goals, risks, escalations).

Minimum Requirements

  • 6-10 years (Senior TPM)/10-15+ years (Director)/12+ years (Senior Director) of enterprise software/technical program or engineering management experience at an enterprise technology company.
  • 6+ years of solution management experience for software or SaaS experience.
  • 3+ years of successfully implementing and managing SaaS product development programs; strong knowledge of the SaaS business model and its product development lifecycle.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientation.
  • Deep experience with the software development lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies.
  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship building skills conducive to driving consensus; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment.
  • Experience with Portfolio Management.

The Senior Manager/Director of Technical Program Management for Einstein will be helping with technical program management aspects across Einstein Platform Apps product and engineering functions, and their collaborations/partnerships with other organizations within Salesforce. This person will partner with our leadership team to drive strategy, in addition to helping to plan, organize, and work with teams to help execute the vision for our key initiatives. The SM/Director will also represent the Einstein Platform Apps team's release plan, priorities, and business requirements to groups throughout the organization. The Director/Senior Director, Technical Program Management, Architecture

The Director/Senior Director of Technical Program Management for Architecture will build and drive the operational backbone of Salesforce’s future-state Architecture and Shared Service initiatives. The TPM will partner with the Chief Architect to address the most important architectural challenges across the company with sponsorship from the highest levels of engineering leadership. This role will run a series of strategic cross-cloud architecture and shared service programs and be responsible for partnering with cross-function and cross-cloud leadership teams to drive the strategy of these programs, as well as helping to plan, organize and work with teams to execute the vision.


The Architecture TPM will often be covering new ground within the company and will need to determine how different organizations work, align key people to goals, and be creative in determining how to drive to success, leveraging successful models where they exist and creating processes and best practices where they don't. Dir/SD, Technical Program Management, Digital Delivery

The Director/Senior Director of Technical Program Management for Digital Delivery will build and drive the operational backbone of the digital delivery initiative to transform the Salesforce.com website, including new digital experiences running on Salesforce technology. Candidates for this role will have demonstrable experience driving cross-functional initiatives at scale and should be familiar with the development of marketing, community, and content-based experiences. This is a leadership role responsible for working closely with key company stakeholders to drive critical programs and activities related to our global web properties.


The TPM will organize delivery of customer-facing programs and strategic engineering programs supporting the website. They will also represent the Customer C360 Guides in release plan, priorities, and business requirements to groups throughout the organization. Director, Technical Program Management, Service Cloud

The Director of Technical Program Management for Service Cloud will drive the operational backbone for our Messaging Platform Initiative. This person will partner with our Digital Engagement leadership team on this initiative in addition to helping to plan, organize, and work with teams to help execute the vision for our key initiative. They will also represent the the Service Cloud release plan, priorities, and business requirements to groups throughout the organization. Experience in Network Engineering is preferred.


Senior Manager, Technical Program Management - Corporate Strategic Initiatives

The Senior Manager of Technical Program Management for Corporate Strategic Initiatives will drive the orchestration & execution of one of our main programs to deliver usage-based product scale and monetization transformation to our customers. This person will partner with our CSI leadership team on this initiative in addition to helping to plan, organize, and work with teams to help execute the vision, adding to the corporate value stream. In this critical Technical Program Manager (TPM) role you will join our fast-growing team to drive delivery of key infrastructure initiatives. You will partner closely with site reliability, security, and compliance teams to define business outcomes, identify owners, and drive platform and product changes to meet Trust goals. You will manage complex dependencies and aggressive timelines to help product teams realize requirements. You will collaborate with engineering services team to define key metrics, design and implement processes that track those metrics, and develop automated reporting for increased visibility. The position requires working cross-functionally with MuleSoft senior product leadership (C-level & SVP) as well as product managers and team leads from engineering, architecture, user experience, product marketing, sales, technical field and back-office teams.

Product Programs at MuleSoft spans from portfolio management through to product, customer and company readiness, including field enablement and customer validation. TPMs are team players who support and protect our core values, respect for our people, and keep trust first and foremost throughout program lifecycle. The ideal candidate must enjoy being challenged, learning-by-doing, working as a team, using data to inform decisions, and have excellent communication and people skills. Responsibilities

  • Act as expert and trusted advisor for internal product lifecycle and business processes
  • Drive clear decision making (process, tools and facilitation) required to balance risk, effort and timelines

  • Help design & roll out internal process workflows and metrics
  • Lead and implement process improvements (change management) while managing active projects
  • Provide guidance and coaching to help teams understand and follow best practices

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+years experience managing technical, complex initiatives & projects from initiation to completion for a SaaS/PaaS based organization
  • Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment to manage issue resolutions
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and organize your work and the work of others in a highly dynamic environment
  • Ability to execute and manage performance and expectations within a cross-functional, matrix management environment
  • Experience working with software incubation projects & lifecycle management
  • Experience collaborating across timezones and cultures to achieve success as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to perform business / systems analysis to assist with process solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards (SOX, SOC1/2, PCI, etc.)
  • Experience in platform security and/or platform compliance
  • Familiarity with MuleSoft a strong plus
  • Experience with using JIRA
  • Experience practicing principles of Lean and Agile and how to blend with traditional project management best practices

  • Preference for collaborative work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience overcoming the difficulties of managing projects with remote and global team members
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to perform business / systems analysis to assist with process solutions
  • Experience with using JIRA
  • Familiarity with MuleSoft and Salesforce a strong plus
  • Preferred certifications in one or more: Agile Scrum Master, Kanban, Scaled Agile, APMG, Six Sigma Belts
