Scope of Position

The Project Manager will be responsible for executing the workplan and achieving goals and outcomes of a two-year initiative called “Advancing a Statewide Technology Resource and Trainings.” This project is funded by an Innovation Grant received by the MN Department of Human Services. The Project Manager will work in concert with the CEO and the Technology Work Group of ARRM to advance the work and overall mission to educate county case managers, providers and individuals with disabilities about what technology can do to support individuals with disabilities to live their best lives.

Key Result Areas

  1. Set the Foundation: Gather data starting with the 11 Regional Resource Specialists (RRS) in Minnesota. The assessment will yield Year 1 and Year 2 targets. Identify and assemble key stakeholders from Year 1 regions including the RRS, providers, others. Work with stakeholder groups to create and conduct regional needs assessment. Based on results, develop regional action plan.
  2. Outreach to case managers: Based on what we learn through the assessment our focus now shifts to county case manager trainings. The Project Manager must engage with the RRS and county leaders in the region to start conversations about how best to market the trainings to case managers. Identify dates/locations. Provide content for promotion to key stakeholders in region.
  3. Outreach to providers: Engage with the provider community in the region utilizing ARRM and MOHR membership database. Entice providers to participate in the Tech 101 online training course that helps to explain how the funding works for technology and answers basic questions breaking down barriers. Highlight success stories previously captured by ARRM.
  4. Focus on individual with disabilities and their families: Engage with the structure that is available in the region to communicate directly to individuals and families about how technology can be used to support a person’s desires and wishes. Highlight case studies of how assistive technology and remote monitoring can assist individuals and families.
  5. Hold 5-6 trainings in Year 1 and another 5-6 in Year 2: Working with consultants from ARRM the Project Manager will learn the skills to train case managers on the Technology Resource Center curriculum previously developed and tested. The Project Manager will conduct the trainings in the regions identified in the Year 1 work plan, same for Year 2. Review results of the satisfaction survey completed by county case managers and adjust the approach and/or content accordingly. Work with the counties and RRS toward successfully embedding the trainings into new case manager orientation.
  6. Work with other Assistive Technology organizations in Minnesota (i.e., MN-NEAT) to help with trainings and support for the various counties.

Job Specifications

The Project Manager is a 20-hour/week position with expectations that working remotely will be the norm, at least for the first 6-months of the grant. The Project Manager will be the lead staff person advancing the overall workplan and will be required to travel from time to time to various parts of MN to meet with stakeholders and others. Mileage and hotel accommodations will be paid for by the grant. We planned to hire a 20-hour a week individual as a staff member but would be open to receiving applications from individuals who are consultants.

PROJECT MANAGER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Project Management

  • Lead the project planning session, including project scope, deliverables, schedules, status reports, and other documentation needs in collaboration with the VP, project lead and other key stakeholders. Used to monitor and track progress.

Responsibilities:

• Performs Contractual Management and secures all contractual obligations are satisfied

• Receives/Reviews from the Engineering Department the Execution Study and

• Ensures the execution of the Project according to the Agreed time schedule , the Execution Study and the Approved Budget

• Provide warnings In case of time deviations

• Intervenes and provides solutions for the time restoration

• Plans and oversee all installation activities on daily/weekly/monthly basis

• Keeps records of the scheduled/nonscheduled activities

• Keep construction logs and report on daily activities

Job Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring the successful operation and management of a portfolio of renewable energy facilities. The successful candidate collaborates with the site O&M team, partners, vendors and internal resources to maximize performance while prioritizing safety, compliance and ethics. This role is expected to visit the assets frequently and provide direction/feedback directly to O&M providers. This role supports multiple project sites and technologies. Primary duties include the following:

SAFETY and ENVIRONMENTAL: Ensure O&M providers, Dominion Energy colleagues and you are in compliance and meeting Dominion’s high safety and environmental standards. Work with Dominion’s internal Safety and Environmental groups to review any incidents and identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures.    

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE: Manage the performance of your sites. Lead efforts with internal and external team members to restore sites to production following outages. Identify opportunities to improve site performance. Work with O&M and other resources to put action plans together to improve performance. Develop and manage spare parts inventory.

FINANCIAL: Assist in the development and monitoring of O&M and capital budgets. Work with the Finance group to explain variances to budget.

ENERGY MARKETING: Work with Dominion’s energy marketing teams to communicate any operational issues that could impact the site’s energy output.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Manage relationships with stakeholders, landowners and lessors. Support Dominion's Business Development group as needed for project diligence efforts.

LEGAL: Assist in contract negotiations for the various services related to your projects. Develop an understanding of how PPAs, Leases, CUPs etc. affect your sites and assist in tracking and ensuring compliance.

Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

7+ years of directly related experience required.

-Previous experience in project management, site performance, outage management and/or renewables.

-Demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of renewable energy generation.

-Skilled in management of contracted staff.

-Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with a variety of people with various levels of understanding of renewable energy, to influence without authority.

-Knowledge of Regional Transmission Organization (RTO) and/or Independent System Operator (ISO) operating procedures.

-Knowledge of and familiarity with Regulatory agencies including Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and North America Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC).

-Skilled in the use of a personal computer and related software.

The Finance Project Manager (FPM) leads finances for projects rated in medium criticality or below, in order to improve the project overall performance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide confirmation of Internal Transfer Pricing policies to procurement for the issuance of internal purchase orders.
  • Control the interflows of Internal purchased orders.

Estamos seleccionando un PROJECT MANAGER Sr para sumarse al equipo de importante multinacional de Ingeniería de Proyectos.

Tendrá Como Principales Responsabilidades

Obtener, recopilar, evaluar y presentar la información necesaria ( técnica, operativa, financiera, legal, etc) para el diseño de los proyectos, presentando recomendaciones a la Gerencia de Proyectos y Sistemas.

Requisitos

  • Tener la menos 10 años de experiencia como PM adquirida preferentemente en industrias de sistemas o seguridad electrónica.
  • Profesionales graduados o avanzados de sistemas o carreras a fin.
  • Grandes habilidades de liderazgo
  • Nivel de inglés avanzado (Deseable)
  • Certificación PMI - (Deseable)
  • Se ofrecen excelentes condiciones de contratación y de desarrollo profesional.

Lugar de trabajo: Núnez

Horario: lunes a viernes de 9 a 18 hs

Due to growth, we are looking to add an experienced Project Manager to our team in Lansing!

What You Will Be Doing

  • Work at field sites located in the Mid-Michigan area
  • Estimating / Preconstruction Understand our client and all project requirements; develop and push a construction schedule; plan for coordination of MEP and BIM; coordinate with accounting, design, and estimating teams; manage bidding lists and subcontractor relationships.
  • Cost and Expediting Write subcontracts and purchase orders; ensure job cost and expediting schedules are updated and accurate; monitor cost changes and report promptly; continually "think outside of the box" to provide key solutions and alternatives.
  • Quality and Safety Ensure that Granger's quality standards are setting the industry's standard; keep high-security level on the job site daily.
  • Close Out and Commissioning Attain the "Zero punch list" goal; keep accurate records and maintain/update as-builts; prepare, deliver, and hand-off closeout materials to the owner prior to occupancy.
  • Communication Demonstrate and maintain clear, effective communication; ensure appropriate documentation and timely action with RFI, submittal, and cost change processes; clearly communicate issues to owners/architects/partners; meet regularly with accounting to monitor job cost.

What You Need for this Position

  • Bachelor's degree in building construction management, civil engineering or other engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills. Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to easily read and understand blueprints and specifications.
  • Assertive, highly motivated, organized and a self-starting individual.
  • Tenacity to accomplish tasks, follow-through and meet deadlines.
  • Entrepreneurial focus and the ability to see the big picture while simultaneously focusing on details and timelines.
  • Must be technologically savvy with the ability to easily pick up computer programs and technology.
